Exhibition and Awards

This is a general overview of some of the achievements Huang Pohsuan have attained over the years. There are many that have not been recorded including book publications, other exhibitions and participation in auctions, but it will be updated when it has been confirmed.


In 1992 artwork “Bo Jackson” was awarded a Second Prize at the America San Francisco Youth Painting Competition.

In 1993 “Still Life” won a provincial Bronze Prize at the Taibei Art Exhibition.

In 1995 “Young Girl” won a First Prize in Taiwan Xinzhu Art Exhibition.

In 2000 “Horizon” was selected to exhibit at the Guangdong Oil Painting Exhibition.

In 2002 “Oasis” was awarded a Silver Prize at the Taiwan Xinzhu Art Exhibition.

In 2003 “Icy Peak Saddle Horse” entered the First Guangdong Youth Art Exhibition.

In 2004 Awarded Third prize for “Outstanding graduate students in foreign and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan”

In 2004 “Unicorn” entered Guangdong Province Art Exhibition.

In 2004 Group exhibition at Spring Gallery “A Colourful World”---Chinese new generation oil painting. The exhibition was displayed in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Beijing.

In 2005 “Unicorn Riding in Fog” awarded participation in The Tenth National Exhibition of Art.

In 2008 Group exhibition “Peace” ---eleven 70’s Artists.

In 2009 “AmazingCaves” awarded participation in The Eleventh National Exhibition of Art.

In 2010 Official member of Guangdong Artist Association.
